Sasha graduated from McGill University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minors in Behavioral Science and International Development Studies.
Sasha has been involved in volunteer work in Montréal and Vancouver that enhances her role as a youth support worker. Her experience includes tutoring primary school students remotely in Kianyaga, Kenya with the Elimu Impact Evaluation Centre, online peer support with individuals through the Looking Glass Foundation for Eating Disorders and delivering meals to seniors for Popotes Roulantes du Montréal Métropolitain. She currently volunteers as a research assistant for Dr. Daniel Levitin (James McGill Professor Emeritus at McGill University), co-authoring “Reimagining Higher Education,” a report identifying best practices in redesigning institutions and curricula to prepare graduates for success in Canada’s digital economy.
Through her previous volunteer work and education, Sasha has developed the understanding, patience, and knowledge necessary to work with families directly.
